We all know that a lot of women like to be tan. Naturally, by baking in the sun or in a tanning bed, or by fake tan. Don’t get me wrong, they look great, and most makeup products are targeted towards people in colors porcelain and above.
But what about the other women who are naturally very pale and have no desire to change their natural skin tone? Those that Too Faced’s Born This Way foundation in Snow is still too dark?
It tends to be an issue with people who are in the extreme ends of the spectrum – extremely pale and extremely dark. Makeup companies seem to forget about us, but thankfully I have found some great products that work with pasty white skin!
Let’s get to it!
1) Make Up For Ever Ultra HD stick in R230.
2) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Pearl
3) IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in Light
4) Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer
-This is great for contouring! It has a slight ashy tint to it that creates a natural looking shadow.
5) Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer in Milk Chocolate
6) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light
-This is the best under eye setting powder! It actually brightens! It’s a mostly translucent powder that leave a slight shimmer to the skin.
All of these products have been tested in weddings and in the heat. The foundation wears so well even in 90 degree heat in a venue that has very little air conditioning and it doesn’t cling to dry patches like other foundations do. It has a slightly dewy finish so it’s perfect for dry skin.
The Tarte bronzer is the only one I have found that looks good as a contour color and the Too Faced bronzer is a great way to subtly warm up your skin.
The concealer is super light and is thick without being cakey. Just make sure you set it!
The Becca highlighter is white – like white white so you get that lovely wet look that is so in right now.
And finally, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder is the only powder that actually keeps with the lightness of the concealer. It’s also great to lightly set your foundation.
So there you have it! My favorite makeup products for fair skin!
Anyone else have a product that they love for their skin tone?
